On November 1, 2022, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad will start accepting applications for its summer internship programme for the postgraduate programme in management (PGP) running from 2022 to 2023. Following the epidemic, the Institute has chosen a hybrid recruiting strategy in which businesses will employ both online and offline techniques. Companies offering comparable job profiles are divided into cohorts at IIM Ahmedabad, and these various cohorts are invited to the campus in a specific cluster as part of the placement process.
The schedule for the summer internship recruitment process is as follows:
Cluster 1: November 1, 2022
Cluster 2: November 4, 2022
Cluster 3: November 7, 2022
If necessary, the Institute will follow a rolling process after conducting cluster 3 recruitments. The post graduate program in food and agri-business management (PGP-FABM) by IIM Ahmedabad is scheduled on 4th November 2022. The Institute will also release a press release on the IIMA website around 10 PM following each cluster for interested readers across India and abroad. The mentioned press releases will have important information and highlights of their respective clusters to achieve a greater degree of transparency about the recruitment process.
For increasing transparency, IIMA introduced the Indian placement reporting standards (IPRS) in 2010, according to these standards the record date for capturing the summer internship placement statistics is set at 3 months from the date of completion of summer internships while the due date for the placement report would be 6 months from the date of completion of the internship.
